Position Summary
This position will be responsible for the cost accounting activities including but not limited to: setting and monitoring standard costs, efficiency rates, waste factors and actual versus standard cost variance analysis. Position will assist in the preparation of monthly / annual closing process and preparation of various internal financial reports. Also, performs analysis on the costs of operations relative to plant utilization and performance to established standards, forecasts and plans. Develop information to assist management in analyzing trends. Advise management on adverse trends. Apply and maintain knowledge of accounting policies & procedures. Assist Accounting Manager as directed.
